True/False Stories

As I place the last photo on the wall, I take a step back. I can’t believe it. I just stuck nearly a hundred photos around my room, brandishing the tiny 4-wall quarter as my own little haven. Photos were a way to store my memories, a 4 by 6 inch card to retell the story of my life. I admire the photo collage on my wall for a while, looking at individual photos and relieving the moment in my head. I giggle. There’s one where Nat and Olivia were swimming towards each other but I took it a way that seemed like one was saving the other in pure adoration. Those 2 always annoyed each other in class. Oh, look at that one, the 3-legged cat! I don’t know who shot it but it was as if the tiny black fuzzball of a cat had his hind leg amputated. Oh my, those days. I grab my camera and steady myself in front of the collage, shooting yet another memory of memories to last a lifetime.

As I place the paintbrush on the pail, I looked up. Finally, I was done with the painting. I was redesigning my room that holiday, and dad allowed me to get some stencils and paint my walls. So I decided to go with a cool swirly stencil in 2 different colour tones, and a third for for the other walls. It looked so futuristic! I waited for the paint to dry before arranging my photos to stick on the swirl. One by one I tediously put them up and took them down, fickle-minded as I am. After about an hour or so – who’s keeping track? – I was done. I sat on the chair and looked at it. My personality wall was done. Painting, check. Photos, check. I was proud of myself. And all the hardwork will surely pay off in time for the house party that weekend!

  1. I think the first one is true as it is more convincing than the second one.

  2. the second story is the true story?

  3. #1 true. #2 false.

    Tough one, haha.

  4. Sharon Phuah

Both seem plausible but I’d have to go with the first being the true one.
